But, well, what can I say...I still prefer the big chunks of halibut but yes that price is ridiculous. I wait for it to go on sale then buy 1 small halibut steak for 2 people and it's always enough. If you do use the tilapia, as you probably know, the cuts are usually thin so it cooks very quickly. It's really the sauce that makes the whole thing come together. Give it a try with the tilapia and let me know what you think.
DrakeDrake Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15626584624175904226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212583807668926478.post-43339315920142094662009-05-07T11:48:00.000-07:002009-05-07T11:48:00.000-07:00Drake, this looks DELICIOUS! Would that work?

Thanks, LoriennePhoebe Kestrelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16992905882336216439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212583807668926478.post-37059182887293095302008-06-06T08:26:00.000-07:002008-06-06T08:26:00.000-07:00Here's an interesting update from the April issue ...Here's an interesting update from the April issue of Waitrose FOOD Illustrated, a European Food Magazine. In it Chef Eric Chavot states, "I use a microwave in my restaurant kitchen all the time. There, I've said it loud and proud." He especially likes cooking broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and carrots in the micro. He sees nothing wrong with this practice...guess he hasn't read the research!Drake Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15626584624175904226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212583807668926478.post-53653068191544240592008-04-20T19:23:00.000-07:002008-04-20T19:23:00.000-07:00Woah, I'm so sorry. I had a room mate once who threw gas on a charcoal grill to get the flames going. Well, the flames traveled right up that line of fuel to the gas can, which she then dropped, and the deck caught on fire. We were able to put it out with a fire extinguisher but there was some damage and my heart was racing! Fire is scary stuff!Drake Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15626584624175904226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212583807668926478.post-53906529514582709192008-04-20T14:22:00.000-07:002008-04-20T14:22:00.000-07:00Yeah, I tried this experiment when I was about 11 ...Yeah, I tried this experiment when I was about 11 years old. Popcorn in oil on the stove, it was catching the wall paper on fire so I panic'd and through water on it. I throw in some feta and pine nuts. So yum. Or I freeze for later.
